Foto: Martin Lässig”Norden – Voll krank!!” lautet das Motto der 18. Nordischen Filmwoche in der Urania. Vom 5. bis 11. Mai 2011 sind Filme aus Dänemark, Estland, Finnland, Island, Lettland, Litauen, Norwegen und Schweden zu sehen. Die Urania präsentiert in Zusammenarbeit mit den nordischen und baltischen Botschaften in Wien insgesamt 15 Filmen am Filmfestival. Am 5. „Low Lights“ is an atmospheric urban road movie, a love story and a buddy movie all rolled into one. It is a story about two men and one woman, three lonely people united for one night by a quaint ritual - night driving through the city streets. The journey transforms the cold insular city into an unexplored and unpredictable space, charged with freedom, closeness, love, and hope. It is about capturing the moments when the endless urban and suburban nights of nonentity culminate in the certainty of being able to master one´s world under the cloud of night.
